Description

RotorWay Exec-162 2-seat helicopter, 1983 model; N83WW (deregistered); S/N 2926. Airworthiness Cert. received in 1984*. Airframe has about 15hrs.TT. Helicopter is complete and assembled, with many upgrades and custom accessories. Overall condition is good. *The Airworthiness Certificate applied to the original build as an Exec-145 and may not apply to helicopter's current rebuilt status as an Exec-162.

HISTORY 
This helicopter was upgraded from an Exec 145 with all mods to make it a true Exec-162. Upgraded extensively from airframe to engine. The RW162 engine, taken from a rolled-over Exec-162, only has 25 hours TT. Some body panels are from the rolled-over Exec-162 and were seamlessly repaired where required.

• RW162 150hp engine (carbureted) with 25 hours TT, digital electronic ignition with ignition lights, new straight-cut steel cam gears, Exec-162f cooling system

• Blue Streak engine governor

• Al Behuncik hydraulic clutch for secondary belts engagement

• Carbon-fiber Waitman main rotorblades with swept tips, ProDrive carbon-fiber tail blades with chrome-plated shaft and nylatron slider

• Elastomeric rotor system

• 1-3/4" main rotor shaft and 35mm secordary shaft and pulley assembly with belt backside idler

• Dual controls, with collective and throttle friction adjustment

• Full instrumentation in illuminated panels with dimmer; includes vertical compass, separate engine and rotor tachs, digital clock

• Avionics (Terra TX760D Transceiver with Intercom, Narco VOR)

• Lighting (dual landing lights, running lights, strobe, illuminated instrument-panel, low-voltage warning light)

• Split bottom tub for easier maintenance
