The five-seat Airbus EC120B, jointly developed in Europe and China, is powered by a Safran Helicopter Engines (Turbomeca) Arrius 2F turboshaft. It was certified in France in June 1997, and features a Fenestron tail rotor, which makes it one of the quietest helicopters in its class. The EC120B has a max. weight of 1,680 kg (3,700 lb.). Production ended in 2017 with 700 built.
